I sent this postcard to Tessa Hulls, another artist who is currently working in Antarctica. My husband and I are applying to work there ourselves for the next austral summer, so its been fun to see the ice through her creative eyes.

Taking another postcard detour this week! I participated in a wonderful swap with nature loving artist Jessica Gowling, who sent me her first fantastic mini zine. In turn, I mailed her this postcard, which I hope she enjoyed. :)

Postcard Friday

My 14 year old son is going to school, several states away, at UNCSA for their ballet program. We're terribly proud of him, but miss him horribly.

I've been making him postcards, and mailing them once a week. He loves getting them and showing them off to his friends. (which makes me feel all warm inside) Its really my way of sharing pieces of who I am with him.
